Vision

We are building cultivation systems for a zero-emission future and sustainability without expensive capital infrastructure. Our goal is to develop a wide array of food production systems that have: high productivity, a positive environmental impact, and are cost-competitive with industrial agribusiness at the family farm scale. We are also an open-science company with all our research being freely available and unpatented.

Our solar greenhouse project aims to deliver a low cost year round greenhouse for temperate-cold climates. This can support local fruit and vegetable production, as well as allow warmer water aquaculture.

Our algal turf cultivation system has achieved the highest productivity ever recorded. We are planning on integrating algal turf production with ducks in our next greenhouse. The high algal productivity means low grain input costs, no manure disposal issues, and duck eggs and meat with higher omega-3 fatty acid content.
